When I took these photographs I made sure to think about the composition. I took time making sure the framing was right and that the reflections from the sun were mostly in the middle.
The first thing that I did when I started to edit my first photo, was to make it black and white. After I did that, I used the curve tool to change what parts were darker and what parts I wanted brighter. Then I cropped my photo down, the reason why I did that, was because it made the fisher man stand out more so you could focus on him. After that, I used the levels tool to make the white brighter. To finish off, I painted a black background around it. The reason why was the Henri did that on a couple of his photos which made it stand out clearly. |
First I made the photo black and white by going into 'images'. After that, I used the curve tool, I cropped the outside of the white part on the floor and refined the edge around it. I used the burn tool after that to darken the boarder of the photo. Then I used the dodge tool to highlight the wall and brightened up the background so that it was clear.
